Don't be surprised if few speak up on this. That's a very personal thing, and there are very good reasons not to say you will be publicly.

I will say I'm glad to see the trend for more CCW in this country. Hopefully we won't get Kerry in the White House as this trend will suffer tremendously under him.

Conceal-Carry? As in you are allowed to conceal and carry a weapon/gun?

If we get caught with any kind of concealed weapon over here, even a 1 inch pocket knife, its a VERY serious offence!!!

It varies state by state (and actually city by city in some states like CA), but you have to get a permit. It's very easy to get this permit in some states which have "shall issue" laws.

Heh. In the People's Republic of Californistan, you would get in more trouble for carrying that knife concealed than a gun.

In most states, they have to have a sticker visible at all entrances that is a statewide accepted sticker for no carry on premisis. In TN it is a black gun with a circle and X through it, though other states require something along the lines of "Pursuant to state law XX.XX.XXX weapons are prohibited....."

I don't know how you do it... I know very few people up here that I would trust carrying, let alone owning, a gun. I grew up with bbguns, rifles and the like and am comfortable having them around, however, I'm not comfortable being around braindead public that can't figure out how to use their turn-signals let alone a trigger safety!

I've had my license to carry concealed since I was 18, I can even get high capacity because my license was grandfathered in when the new laws came around. I never carry, however, it's much easier to stick it in my pocket and go to the range for practice then lug around a big lock box. I have a license to carry concealed in Maine, Massachusetts, Vermont, and New Hampshire. It's real easy to get in any of these states. It does scare me thinking of who else out there has guns!
