| My Twin spotted in Round Rock I saw someone on an 01 929 (red and black) on Thursday headin up I35 going north to Old Settlers Blvd.
It had some FB.org stickers on the bike so I assumed (duh) that he's on here. Don't remember the helmet type, but he was wearing a Joe Rocket red/black/white jacket.
I was taggin behind in a Black GMC Yukon. Got to Sunrise Blvd. and he bailed left (going north). Kinda odd/freaky to see someone who's riding and identical to my gear...helmet included and all. Reply back Like the rear seat cowl. Looks like I need to get one once I get the bike prepped for paint. |

You have the tapeworks applied, right?? Very strange...two Victor's on R/B 929's, same general area of Round Rock TX...What are the odds?? Give me a shout sometime. |

Sure thing, I would love to nab a seat cowl soon, but between the HTEV eliminator and a PCIII I find it hard saving money. Especially now that I need tires. |

I figure if I ride with one or two, I can stay relatively low on the radar. |

Especially now that I need tires. | I got my seat cowl for $25 painted and ready to roll because the guy that posted it on Ebay did not put in the right description and I happened to find it with a couple of days left and put in a last second bid to win it. Keep your eyes open for weird descriptions. I found mine doing a search for cowl and had to filter out about 3 pages before I found it under the weird title.
I know all about the saving money part....I am trying to get up the cash for a damper Ebay aka dampener or dampner or dampenner etc....... I'll find one with low action some day. |

| Re: My Twin spotted in Round Rock I have the HJC CL14. Nothing to brag about by any means but I do need something newer. This has lasted me the past 2 years and I need something better. The wind noise is just too harsh.
I'm gunna look into the TK9. I just have a huge melon, it's hard to find XL's or even XXl's that fit. And to think the HJC I have is a L. |
