It's that time of year again.
Houston Ride for Kids benefitting the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation
Come out and help fight the number one killer of children under the age of twelve, pediatric brain tumors.
Yes, it's a parade ride but don't let that put you off. Thousands of Houston bike riders (including many sportbikes) make this event the sucess that it is but we can always use a little more help.
This year is very special to me. My best friend, Bill Wynn, who passed away recently was a huge supporter of the Ride for Kids (#1 fundrasier in 2001). Ronnie Lunsford (Northwest Honda), JR Garza (Honda of Houston), myself and others who knew Bill have decided to pool our fundraising proceeds and donate them in Bill's name. I'm not disclosing the amount (come see for yourself) but I can guarantee that everyone will be very pleased.
Come check it out for yourself. I absolutely guarantee that if you attend just one event, it won't be your last. If you are not close to the Houston event, regional Ride for Kids event are held all year long, click the following link for the 2005 schedule:
