| Need Help: Anyone familiar with the Denver area? I moved to Sydney, Aus about a year ago from the US and now my company has offered me a position back home that is too good to pass up. I travel a lot and the new position is more of the same, they would like me to move to any major city west of Chicago...
I lived in Southern Cal for 2 years and I'm ready for something new. Anyone have any advice on Denver? I have been there for work a few times but it is hard to get a real feel for a city in 2-3 day visits. I would be working at home and hitting the airport a few times a month, what about the Boulder area? Thoughts? |

I just want the basic info, like what is the riding season like? I know they get snow in the winter but I heard outside the mountains isn't that bad, how months do you get?
It's looking better that I am headed there, any insight on the housing market? |

| Re: Need Help: Anyone familiar with the Denver area? Last year the snow started on Halloween and didnt end until near April. We are getting rain almost every day, but the it ususlly holds off until the later afternoon/early evening. Mornings and mid afternoons are always beautiful and I ride as often then as I can.
Housing,in Denver, Im sure is plentiful. Southern parts of Springs is more affordable and tends to go up in price as you move North. The outskirts of Denver would be the best bet, then just comute to and from for work.
Good luck with the move and if you need any help once your located, look me up. |

| Re: Need Help: Anyone familiar with the Denver area? Those little hills located just west of Denver have some awesome roads. Even the interstate (70) is fun. |

| Granted, I miss Laughlin Nv. Its not easy adapting to a climate that gets snow when youve never lived in it before. |
