| The Gap I have heard people talking about the gap somewhere in Ohio. I live in the cincinnati area and have never heard of this place. Can anyone shed some light on where this is, I am always up for a good ride. |

| Re: The Gap Hard to tell exactly what road they are talking about...since there aren't really any true "gap" roads over there...
There are however, tons of great roads south of you...
From the bottom of 275 -take 27 south (exit 74)
27 south to Alexandria
10 south to 22 near Willow
22 west til you get tired of it...
Plenty of other good sections in that area...

It's flying something behind it, I can't quite make it out, it's a large banner and it says, uh - Happy... Thaaaaanksss... giving! ... From... W.... ... K... ... R... ... P!! Les: No parachutes yet. Can't be skydivers... I can't tell just yet what they are, but - Oh my God, Johnny, they're turkeys!! Johnny, can you get this? Oh, they're plunging to the earth right in front of our eyes! One just went through the windshield of a parked car! Oh, the humanity! The turkeys are hitting the ground like sacks of wet cement! Not since the Hindenberg tragedy has there been anything like this! Johnny: Les? Are you there? Les isn't there. (composing himself) Thanks for that on-the-spot report, Les, and for those of you who just tuned in, the Pinedale Shopping Mall has just been bombed with live turkeys. Film at eleven. Jennifer: But Mr Colly, a lot of turkeys don't make it through Thanksgiving! Venus: Les! Are you okay? Les: I don't know. A man and his two children tried to kill me. After the turkeys hit the pavement, the crowd kind of scattered, but some of them tried to attack me! I had to jam myself into a phone booth! Then Mr Carlson had the helicopter land in the middle of the parking lot. I guess he thought he could save the day by turning the rest of the turkeys loose. It gets pretty strange after that. Andy: Les, c'mon now, tell us the rest. Les: I really don't know how to describe it. It was like the turkeys mounted a counterattack! It was almost as if they were ... organized!! Mr Carlson: As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly.

A lot of people in that area take the trip down there because they can make it after work on Friday and ride the weekend.
Other than that there is no gap in Ohio that I'm aware of. There are many good roads farther east, or as Baketech advises in the area.
Good luck and ride safe. |

| Re: The Gap Man, I don't know baby talk. I got most of it though. More or less, I was just being an ass, but in my defense ...
The gap is beautiful. The country is just amazing out there. The way it is advertized though is more of a "technical course" with 318 turns in 11 miles. I'd rather hit that slower than attack it. If I want a challenge in riding, head up to Lake Shore Drive, yeah. It's like a wooden roller coaster, different every time.
Jeez, I gotta stop with these comparisons. It's like .... |
