Things have settled down a bit since this morning. I haven't had time to pay attention, but the buzz around the office is that lots more is expected. The biggest problem, as always, is the lack of caution these dumbass drivers have when it comes to flooded streets and highways, especially the underpasses (which can be 10 feet deep in rain storms like these).

agreed. The last time I was in H-town, it rained the day I was flying out and I swear, the folks down there drove like they have never seen rain a day in the lives....accidents all over the freaking place...I was in awe....
