Hey I moved to Austin a year ago and left my bike in London. If anyone knows of a 2002-2006 blade preferably with a single colour paint-job let me know... I'm itchin to get out there !!!

Craigslist; Austin, Dallas, & Houston would be your best bet for finding a decent bike. I look occasionally and find great deals. Not many single-color paint jobs, though.

Recently relocated from Tennessee to Texas. Talk about different terrain! The bike is unloaded and parked in the hanger. Now if only I could find something that isn't flat and straight here.

I've seen some nice riding down around San Antonio. Is there anything in the area just south of Ft Worth? Someone said something about FM4 being pretty good.

I had a 929 and bought some back brake pads for it. I totalled the bike and now have a 06 GSXR. If you ever need some back brake pads let me know. I'll get them to. It'll only cost you a beer at Twin Peaks.

I said this to a rider at the last track day I attended when he was telling everyone around him how fast he was, "Man you are really fast, you where really hauling ass when I passed you." I was on my old Triumph and he was on a GSXR-1000 at the time.

A is my house, B is where I like to turn around and do it all over again. Or at B, go north to 1431 and head west. Good stuff. It's nice that I have minimum exposure to traffic, as my short run on 620 is the worst of it.

Be careful of the dirt/sand and small road hazzards in the road. That is a fun ride. Does this route take you past Oasis and Hippie Hollow?

You might as well go over to 1431 go west to Marble Falls and then take 281 south back to 71 and do your cool down cruise on 620 to get back home.

It goes past Oasis, but I turn right before I get to Hippie Hollow. There are some areas with gravel that you have to be careful of but not too bad.

I'd just as soon stay off the beaten path, I don't like to ride those heavily trafficked roads (620, 71, 281) if I don't have to. I'm a fairly green rider so I'm paranoid of blue hairs and the ubiquitous SUV, and I'm riding pretty slow.

. When I mention small group rides I'm trying to find a crowd that has my same ideals in mind about riding. I'm looking for a group that is into safety and speed. I ride in full gear, and I never stunt. So I'm looking for like minded folks to go have fun and share my love and respect for sport bikes. Tell us more of this hog's bar
