These guys all deserve medals...
Too bad the realaudio is dark in this link. The TV version is hillarious. The guy just FLYS over the bike like superman. The other guy pushed the bike over but you cant see that very well here either...

| Re: excellent use of tactical skills Don't these officers realize they're being taped???
The biker clearly shows an unwillingness to resist and raises his hands, then superman takes over. The officer got what he deserved!!!!

| Re: excellent use of tactical skills I can understand he might have been mad that the biker ran from him (assuming I heard right that it was a chase) but common was there a need to tackle him like that. I don't think he had to go as far as he did... I think drawing your gun and demanding him to get off the bike would have worked.
edit: come to think of it at the end of the summer a cop pulled me over for speeding saying into the loudspeaker pull over or I will make you pull over even though as soon as I realized it was me he was after.... me and my gf pulled over. Did I mention I was going 40 in a 35 I think some people just have a thing for bikes to begin with.

| Re: excellent use of tactical skills I saw the vid on the local news here a few days ago. I guess it would have been funnier if it wasn't real.
3 cops got fired over this; the one who did it, plus two others that lied to cover for him (hello, it's on tape!). |

Those things make you very aggressive. Under these circumstances, I dont see how a motorcycle rider could be considered a threat. Especially since he stopped, put his kickstand down and raised his hands...
No news on the disposition of the riders case. Maybe a bargain was made. |
