| Not that bad living in Ohio..... State Farm® Lowers Ohio Auto Insurance Rates
Newark, Ohio, Feb. 16, 2004 -- State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company, the largest insurer of autos in Ohio and in the nation, is lowering its overall rate level in Ohio an average of 4.1 percent effective March 15. This represents an annual savings of $40.1 million to the company’s Ohio customers.
After this change, State Farm’s overall rates in Ohio will be 12.0 percent lower than they were thirteen years ago.
Premiums for the collision and comprehensive coverages are decreasing the most. The comprehensive coverage pays for losses such as those from theft, vandalism, fire, storm damage and glass breakage. The cost of the liability coverage is also going down for some and up for others. The price of the medical payments coverage is increasing for most customers.
Premiums for many customers will go down because State Farm is increasing the size of some of its accident-free discounts.
Overall premium changes for individual motorists will vary depending on factors such as the coverages they carry, the discounts for which they qualify, where they live, the kind of car insured, who drives it and how much it is driven.
About one in every five cars insured in Ohio is insured by State Farm. |

| Re: Not that bad living in Ohio..... For state farm insurance to insure your car you have to be with a company for atleast 6 months. Because I was deployed to Iraq, and found no reason to have my car insured, They said it wasnt a good excuse. THE CAR WAS IN LOCK DOWN! lol a bird couldnt even take a **** on it. However, they will insure your motorcycle. Uncles friend has a GSX-R 1300 Busa, and they only charged him 405/YEAR!!! A year! i went to them, not having insurance on the bike, they asked why didnt I have insurance on it, I told them that I was rebuilding the bike. The tires wernt even on and i just BOUGHT the bike! so for 1 year of insurance it will be for me $386/ Year. Full coverage! 4 more months I can transfer my car to their company. MUCH MUCH Cheaper

| Re: Not that bad living in Ohio..... Great timing. I have State Farm full coverage on both auto and bike. I was considering going to liability on both but maybe I'll revaluate the costs. Just made the final payment on the 929! |

| Re: Not that bad living in Ohio..... That's weird about the 6 month thing. The first thing I insured with State Farm was my car, then my house, then my bikes. All years apart, too.
For our ZX12 it's $426 and my 954 is $380something per year for full coverage. I have only had positive experiences with them. |

| Re: Not that bad living in Ohio..... And why am I paying State Farm $600/year for full coverage on the 954 in Tucson?! No tickets for eons, clean record (yes, redundant ), have my truck, renter's insurance with them, etc... |
