| my new 1/4 times Well, the motor is getting stronger with every pass, should be broken in good before the next big event. Anywho...
best on motor : 9.887@139.41 only made two passes on just motor all the way down the track.
best on NOS : 9.675@145.23
9.716@147.68
Made it to the top 15 bikes out of around 150. That's my best performance, I broke out by 4 thousandths my last run. Had two guys go down, but both got up and was able to walk.
Oh, 1/8th mile times, best was 6.366@111.17 on motor, and 6.328@118.83 on NOS. My previous best was a 6.42.

Obviously, I know next to nothing about it. | NOS knocks off maybe 3 tenths on average. Just because a bike has NOS doesn`t mean it`s super fast it still takes a good rider to make it do what it`s supposed too. Great times, who ever said 954`s weren`t drag bikes |

60' times weren't as good as I hoped, EXCEPT 1 was MORE than I imagined, if I only knew what I did different!!
1st pass was a 1.58 which tied my best for the third time; then most were 1.60's and later at night I was spinning a little bit and ran 1.70-1.71.
Best was a 1.495 and I have NO CLUE how I did it!
Those Busa's were having to set me out, and COULDN'T catch me, HA! I was also faster than a few Gix1K's! As SonicsBomb can attest, when these Blades are set-up correctly, they are deadly on the track! And most people are very surprised we're running such low numbers from a bike that is SUPPOSED to be down on power. I get alot of compliments on riding my Blade so good, and fast.
Still wishing I could get down to Sonics numbers though. But I weigh more, and so does the bike. Maybe once the motor breaks in again I can get close. |

SonicsBomb is correct, and I dont spray until I hit 2nd gear, I think he sprays in 1st.
Also, I run my passes on motor and just use the NOS according to what I need to do, either catch up and let off the NOS or bump spray to stay ahead right before the finish line. I dont use it all the way down except for one or two test passes before eliminations begin. |

Just out of thought, where do you mount the sneaky pete bottle? I have the same bike and was considering a NOS or NX kit, 25-30 shot area.
Nice e.t Btw..

I have the airshifter bottle and NOS bottle in the trunk. I have the MPS switch stuck to the back of the headlight fairing on the left and after I start the bike, I flip the switch and the starter button is now the NOS button. My horn button is for the airshifter. Both bottles are the same size, the NOS bottle weighs 4lbs when filled. |

Maybe once the motor breaks in again I can get close. | The power to wieght ratio on the blade is better than the heavy Busa, thats how with the proper set up the 954 is so fast. The Busa is just so much easier to launch more people race them. |

Sounds like fun. I've only drag raced on a bike a few times(no NOS!) and SUCKED at launching it. Don't think I ever got under a 1.95 60' time. The others were massive wheelies I'd have to roll out of to keep from looping, or the engine would bog and then spin the tire. I just didn't have the patience(or tire budget!) to practice enough to get good at it! And it takes practice! My hat's off to you! |
