| Re: 1/4 mi tire I think SilverBullet suggested a Shinko. do a search on here for Shinko and see what you get.

| Re: 1/4 mi tire Yep, get the Shinko, Stealth. Should be able to get it for $150 or less. I get mine alot cheaper though. I go through about 2 a year, racing every weekend during racing season.
Tire pressure will vary on track conditions....but I run anywhere from 14-19 lbs. The more sticky the track, the more air you can put in, (faster mph), but you dont want to spin! |

| Re: 1/4 mi tire I've got tons of dunlop GPA rears were the sides are shot but still have 90% in the middle.....there not the flattest tire for draggin but they are sticky once hot....and cheap. I"ve spun them up at the local strip but only when I didn't light'em up...and the track isn't that taken care of on bike nights..Tuesday...oily.
I have 3 I'd sell for $50+shipping just to move them out of my house.
I wouldn't run too low of pressure...started spinning for me when I went to low..below 29-30 was not good for me. |
