Drag times

Just got back from IRP in Indy. My first track nite of the year, but not the last. Best time was 1/4-10.444 .......60'-1.792 not too bad for the first of season. Basicly stock except PC, full exh., strapped front. Had a guy on a Busa tonight running 1/4 - 8.60's, he made alot of us look like we were riding trycycles. But fun none the less.

Next tuesday, I start getting ready right after work at 4:00 and leave Martinsville around 5:00 or so. Let me know if you want to go, Kawboy will most probably be there ....maybe late though. They run from 5:00 till 9:30 or 10:30 depending on interest and accidents. Hwy 136 just west of cleremont.

Where is Edgewater?

I thought about going to Beanblossom (1/8 track)to practice launching, last night I was having problems with damn redlighting. I've heard that Beanblossom has a serious dip at the finish line that can get hairy.

Beanblossom is a bit better than it used to be, but the big end is still a bit freaky because of the dip. I've seen plenty of cars upside down there...

Edgewater is over in Cleves, OH...just outside of Cincy....but IRP is probly a lot closer for you.

Re: Drag times

Good job! Keep practicing, thats all it takes.

My 60' is hurting this year for some reason. Only had 2 low 1.50's, but all others are between 1.58-1.64. Last year I was running consistant 1.53-1.58. I've got 6 Shinko's in the garage for this year, and almost time to change it on the Blade.

Best this year, 6.17 @ 115.xx motor, 6.12 @ 119.xx on spray. (all 1/8th mile tracks so far till next month). My NOS line was kinking, and broke this weekend, got some new line, and I'm moving the solenoid to prevent that from happening again, so I'll see if it changes on my spray runs.
