Oh yeah so its obviously better to get the front and back lowered to reduce the front wheel coming up and to get a way faster launch off the line? |

Mods: Two Brothers Racing Full Exhaust, +4 ignition advancer, air box mod with two pod filters and re-jetted carbs. I also changed the rear sprocket from stock 43T to aluminum 44T.
Bike weighed in at 430 lbs with one gallon of Cam2 racing fuel in it. I only weighed about 140 lbs at the time (with the helmet and leathers on...LOL )
I had the bike dynoed stock at 113.8Hp at the rear wheel. After the mods it dynoed at 125.4Hp at the rear wheel.
I ran it down the track stock and ran an 11.2 (I forget the mph). After the mods I ran a 10.7 at 136.5mph. My 0-60 foot times are what killed me. I just couldn't launch it without the nose at the sky. That was with the 44T rear sprocket. Before the rear sprocket I tried a 15T front sprocket on the bike (stock is 16T) and it was basically undriveable in 1st gear....LOL

Now running around 146mph to 148mph consistently.
There is a guy over here who has run 9.23@158mph on an 04 ZX10R with 16-42 gearing. |

Seems a little strange that your MPH is only 146???
What mods have you done to your bike? |

If anyone hasn't tried it, you should. | Pretty sure a perfect reaction time is .400. Anything less and you're anticipating which is far different from racing (I also believe your time would be unofficial as a result - if you beat .400)... |

| Re: Can everyone post some 1/4 times??? You're supposed to anticipate the tree. Getting a .000 reaction time is known as "axing the tree." You just can't go negative.

| Re: Can everyone post some 1/4 times??? Ducati 748R. 10.91 @123MPH Thorney island UK.Unmodified apart from Termi slipon and FIM chip. The bike was running only 108.2 BHP at the rear wheel and it was my first time.Had a lot of trouble launching her of the line due to that horribly cheap and nasty ram type slipper clutch.I did a total of 12 runs and completly destroyed the dry clutch. |

.400 is a Pro Tree...All the yellow lights come on then green.
.000 and .500 are the same thing. Some tracks use the .5 instead of the .0. The .000 and .500 you have a .5 sec time lag between each yellow light coming on.
