Todays race results! Guess who won.....
Took 1st place tonight and moved into 1st place in points. Still alot of races left in the season, so please keep your fingers crossed for me! Next points race isn't for another 3 weeks. Got the whole day on video, but I don't think we can take it from the 8mm Sony to the computer, but I will check it out.

A definite four hooves up

As far as transfering video, if you have a program that can capture video you need a Dazzle Hollywood DV Bridge or similar to convert the analog signal (8mm or Hi-8) to a digital (DV) signal then yes you can upload from a 8mm just fine.

Do you have schedule of when/where your points races are being held? I'm tied up most of the summer but don't know where I'll be from one month to the next. If I'm in the area, I'd like to be able to drop by and watch.

We used to have 8mm Sony recorders in the AH64 and had software and a firewire hookup to digitize video to send higher (and to make our own "check this out" videos).

Yeah, I pretty mich know my entire season schedule of when and where mapped out.

Will have to look into getting that to convert it.

Thanks all! Glad it is running a little better....must have been the air last weekend. Best run was a 6.292 on a 6.29 dial in, on the brake. Could have run low 6.20's. My 60' is getting back to normal, had several 1.56 and 1.58 passes.

I think he wanted you to post that schedule so he could possibly make it out to one of the dates.

Good job!

Wish I could say the same for me. I got down the track twice under power and thats it. was running way to rich. The bike made a pass of 8.42 @ 180mph at 17 pounds of boost. So off to Canada to get it tuned for may 5th and then I should see a 7 second pass

Whew, that thing is going to really roll buddy! Dont tweak it if its running rich, just put 100hp shot of NOS, that will lean it out, lol. just kidding. Hope you get it right and see some 7 sec and close to 200mph!!
