| Seat grip pad and Naarden Speedlink ???s Hi,
Is anyone using a seat grip pad? I bought some adhesive backed strips for my 954 off Ebay that worked great at first, but then the adhesive broke down and got all over my leathers- that really sucked. I was looking for something I could apply to the seat to keep me forward while taking off. I may try to have the foam cut down, but I can;t imagine an even harder 954 seat!
Also, is anyone using the Naarden Speedlink to lower the rear on their bike?
Thanks,
Franc |

| Re: Seat grip pad and Naarden Speedlink ???s I believe you will find the Naarden Speedlinks highly recommended for having good adjustability at the rear of the bike when setting up to drag race. I am personally waiting for them to finish getting the design and testing done for the 04-05 1000rr... I have been kinda promised the first one once they are done testing and put them out for production... I am awaiting it axiously.

Twist the grip harder. When your butt puckers enough the suction will hold you where you want to be. |

Henry, I spoke to Kris at Naarden. They are going to do the links for the 1000, they just got sidetracked when the ZX-14 came out. I talked to him about 2 days ago so hold on bubba... |

| Re: Seat grip pad and Naarden Speedlink ???s I love the Speedlink. With a 15/16" Gearwrench, I don't even have to loosen any fairing bolts to lower my 954 at the track. Between the front Schnitz strap and the Speedlink, it takes me about 3-4 minutes to go from street ride height to strip. The next thing I'm thinking of doing is going longer on the link's adjustability bolt to go lower with the 6" swingarm extensions I now have.
Take care,

My wife doesn't slide into me as much as she used to under hard braking and deceleration.
They make one for the driver as well, here's the link: Triboseat non slip cover for the Rider
It comes to just over $30 USD and takes about 2 weeks to get from time of order. |
