CB750

Hi, I am new to the board
.
I have a cb750 & I want to put a larger motor in the frame.
I can cut, bend, weld & make anything fit.
.
Question is, what is the fastest "AIR COOLED" engine stock.
2nd fastest.
.

Re: CB750

The fastest air-cooled engine is probably the Pratt & Whitney R-4360 Wasp Major. It will take a fair bit of cutting, bending and welding to make it fit, but the 3000+ HP it can produce should put you in good position. It has a turbo-supercharger as standard accessory.
Send photos when you're finished.

Re: CB750

Hope my earlier post didn't kill your thread.

I believe the engine from a CB900 should go in pretty easily. If I remember correctly, a guy close to where I used to live in Ontario has done it, and he made it sound pretty easy.
