| Re: Help me please. You just need to practice your launching more. Its a clutch game. Theres nothing wrong with your bike as your trap speed is plenty high, (it will get higher when you launch better).
YOu need to shift all your weight to the front as much as you can to keep the nose from standing up. Then just slip the clutch out and give it more trhottle as it speeds up once your out of first its easier to keep it planted.
Also if you weigh well over 200lbs this is just hurting your times too. |

| Re: Help me please. are you using your feet? It may look like people are just dragging them, but they are actually using them to help keep frontend down. Use them as leverage to put more weight on the front. |

| Re: Help me please. launch rpm is something you're gonna have to experiment with. Some people can launch a stock length bike near wide open and just work the clutch while some people leave at lower r's and mix the throttle with the clutch. There really isn't one set way of doing it. It's kinda like tire pressure, you have to let track conditions and your launch technique depict which pressure to use. When I first started back in 97 I was running 2.20 60 foots. Nobody goes out there and gets the hang of it right away, just keep practicing. |

| Re: Help me please. You can also learn from your runs and see at what highest or near there abouts RPM can you lunch (at the discovered point) where the rear is going to start spinning...if you got all the weight that you can afford to put into keeping the front from raising or in well balanced / managed state, then that's it...you can then do practice runs to play with and concentrate on the throttle to control the slippage (for the lack of a better word) back to the traction point and ride it on out...body position the same as lunch position...keep on shifting where you feel the front rising higher than you care for...if starts to.
All this, of course, easier said then done (for sure for me). But if you think you're doing everything down from your experiences and exploring, practiced, suggestions about, etc. Regards to shifts...how about increasing a tooth or two on the rear sprocket and (do runs again hehehee he but do an extra shift from the get-go..what would that be..third or forth?? and compare it...anyway...one more gear to go through this way. Good luck.
Nb: i don't know anything about 9.29k RR power band.
Nbb: i claim that i can not do anything in this post nor ride a tricycle |

| Re: Help me please. Have you considered an air shifter and a shift light? If you don't want the hassle of installing an air shifter, how bout an electric one? I used a Dale Walker Powershifter for years, it worked great (on newer sportbikes that is, not so well on older bikes). |
