Need fuel for wet shot.

I just put a direct port wet shot on my 954. Probably going to be running a 40 to 60 shot. I'm trying to figure out where to get the fuel from. Not really wanting to weld another nipple into my sending unit but i think that is the best thing. I know most of u use a dry shot but i was wondering what someone has done before. I was thinking about tapping into the factory line.

Thanks for any help u can give

pat

Re: Need fuel for wet shot.

Okay, sorry for the long delay, he is very hard to get ahold of sometimes. He told me he went to local parts store and got a drain kit for automatic transmission for cars. He then drilled a hole in rear of tank near opening for fuel pump and installed the kit. It has teflon washers that seal it. Then he just installed an elbow and ran fuel line to NOS pump. Hope that helps.

Re: Need fuel for wet shot.

I tee'd off of the factory fuel return line to my NOS 7 psi pump on my 02 954 and have had no problems. The return line gravity feeds out of the the tank. I'm running 68 hp jets about to step it up to 100 hp after i lower it and stretch the swingarm.
