| Re: GOIN out to real drag racers Sparkie - Not everyone has enought time and resources e.g. money to put into a drag bike - and most want to use theirs on the street too (thats probs why they don't have many mods and "get in your way" at the 1/8s and 1/4s...)
Same goes with bikes on the track - most do track days, some have never ridden "fast" before but you need to give them more room in case of errors.
Always remember, you were once a newbie.

maybe you need to be a REAL drag racer to read this post...
sparkie,
not for nothing the guys that get in your way at the strip could be your competition later on. so help a newb out if they are holding u up at the track. the reason you wont see alot of hondas at the drags is cause they were built with corners in mind, more so than the busa and others that are more frequently found on a drag strip. its not good to be an eletist. leave that to the harley guys. dont you remember the old slogan "you meet the nicest people on a honda!"
elitist = :****: |

| Re: GOIN out to real drag racers I've been dragging since 97 and my RR is strictly drag only. I welcome any new faces at our track. Without new blood anything will die. Maybe I'm not a "real" dragracer in some people's eyes, but I'm glad to help "street" bike people with their machines and share any knowledge I have with them. |
