| 04-05 CBR1000RR I am in the market for a 04-05 CBR1000RR, which I will be drag racing only.
Are there any differences between the 04 and 05 model years which would make one more desirable than the other?
Thanks |

| Re: 04-05 CBR1000RR A very close friend has one. Fastest stock bike I've ever taken down 1/8 mile. It ran a 5.92 (12" over arm) and has never had valvecovers off. He is putting some cams in it, so we can't brag on it being stock anymore.

| Re: 04-05 CBR1000RR Stotz Racing inspired me to buy the CBR for drag. He is beating some of the fastest Busas with a liter bike having much less HP. That feat has made me somewhat loyal to the CBR1000. 7.2ET 1/4 miles on 190mm street tires. |

| Re: 04-05 CBR1000RR Power of dreams,
Have you tried finding someone personal from the U.S. to ship you the parts? What I mean is have the parts shipped to them, then they can ship to you.
I don't think you should suffer on parts, just because a company won't ship you them.
By the way, who makes the seat panel pieces on your bike? |
