shifting?

..i have an 08 1000rr and you guys will have to excuse the newbie question...but how many of you guys are using the clutch to shift at the track.....im real new to the not using the clutch thing on a bike..and i have heard more than a few just say crack of the gas just a touch and pull...it will shift without using the cflutch...but im not to sure...do you guys use the clutch? any info to help a newb would be greatly appreciated

I clutchless upshift but I use clutch on downshift...many people clutchless downshift too, I just don't feel comfortable doing it

If you use the trotle to get it in gear it is verry hard for the transmisjon. use a engine kill switch to shot of the engin wile shifting. mutsh better for the gearbox. and mutch faster.

If you don't want to go with a full blown airshifter, try finding a Dale's powershifter or equivalent. Like Power of Dreams said, it will kill your engine for a split second when you pull up on shift lever.
