Re: shares in ducati?

Hey

I am thinking of diversifying my Super Fund portfolio into international shares, Ducati stock in particular. Have any of you guys got shares in a bike manufacturing or industry related company?

Re: shares in ducati?

Tough industry to invest in. The mass market companies with some deversification are steady. The little guys are good for short term leaps and bounds. They are also historically known for failure though. Personally I would by duc stock just for the glamour, Can't afford thier bikes.LOL

Here's the only safe way to buy Ducati or Harley stock....

The only thing cooler than having this hanging in your garage is the fact that they send you the annual reports....

You guys have 'Social Security' there, too?
Yeah, our gov steals our money and puts it into a useless money losing program that can't be touched until you retire (unless you make a certain dollar figure). And if you just want to invest it for yourself that's just too damned bad.

But, if you want to get into motorcycle stocks, get Hardley Ableson. Their stock has been very consistent as of late, and with their marketing and the millions that buy the crap it is very secure.

A friend of mine has a bunch of Harley stock and the annual report is pretty damn sweet. Much nicer than the boring tech ones I've gotten.
