Ducati chose the EICMA show in Milan to unveil the Ducati Hypermotard. Stripped to its essentials, its purpose is single minded – to thrill.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a motard section to avoid mishaps like this |

I'd still take the Aprilia SXV over that thing in a heartbeat - if they'd ever make it. |

.... | Ya the big dirtbike fender looks dorky... same with the one on the KTM 990 tard and the Honda 650.
Monkey: in spite of looks, I think I read somewhere that the DB5 weighs 340some pounds, so this DB6 should weigh even a little less. I've got a huge boner for it. |

| Re: New Ducati Motard? It looks more like a monster replacement than a motard to me...motard usually implies some type of offroad capability, which is tough at 340lbs...
as a sportbike, it's still beautiful... |

| Re: New Ducati Motard? Yeah, they felt the heat from Aprilia's Ubersexy SXV/RXV series. They saw how pretty much every unit was sold before it even left the factory. Kind of hard to ignore numbers. |
