| Restoration is done: 1993 888SPO Shot is from the top of Angeles Crest (Inspiration Point is about 7800' overlooking Baden-Powell and Baldy, just 7 miles up from Wrightwood) and then back....stopped for a couple pics at the top. http://www.888spo.com/crest/888SPO_crest_left.jpg http://www.888spo.com/crest/888SPO_crest_right.jpg
Still have to add the small tricolore tail-side decals, bar end mirrors that I've had waiting for it, and we have a couple fiddly bits to do, but it's looking awesome and running perfectly. |

| Re: Restoration is done: 1993 888SPO You still gave your staff the afternoon off though, right?
Looks sweet (not just the ride, but the ride too).

| Re: Restoration is done: 1993 888SPO Oh, that is SWEET!!! I love the look of that era Ducati. Mine looks a bit similar ('95 SS SP), but there the similarities end. What exhaust is on it? Still available? I have Arrow slipons on mine, carbon fiber. I'm thinking I should get them repacked. I keep hearing stories about the heat burning through them, and it seems like exhausts are nearly impossible to get for these bikes now.
I'll be it rides really nice!!
Edit: never mind, I see they're Ferracci pipes. |

Kidding, Todd. Thanks for keeping that beauty on the road. |

Kidding, Todd. Thanks for keeping that beauty on the road. | Hehehe....certainly I expect the bike to be fussier than my 929 or VFR were...but then again, this is the bike about which I keep having those "inappropriate" dreams...it calls my name in the middle of the night....
HondaGalToo...the 94-97 900SS-SP is one of my other favorite Ducs beside my '92 Superlight...my riding buddy here in town has a '97 SP...awesome bike... |
