Re: 1999 748 Problems????

More than likely too late to add my 2 cents but with any Ducati make sure it has had its services done. Up until this year a Duc will need a service every 4k miles. This is for valve adjustments and to check the belts among other things. Receipts are the best and only way i know to track this.

If the services were done for the most part the number of miles should not matter. Duc's have a high cost of ownership because of this.

I was looking at a 748 about four months ago. I love the look of the bikes but it did not work out between me and the owner. I ended up with a Monster 750 and can only ask for a little more power and will get that with my next bike .
