| Re: where do you ride in the SE I go with a few buds to Jennings a few times a year. Look on their forum, on JenningsGP, there is some private days that are semi-open if you catch them just right. Otherwise you'll be at the track with about 80 other people. Way too crowded. Just read on there about a guy doing a private day on a thursday and invited anyone to join him for $100.00. What a deal!

I have been wanting to try TPM and STT... But right now, my "without a doubt you'll be pleased" recomendation is cornerspeed... |

After the last track day, I'd just rather wait until another private day with far less riders. There were over 80 riders last time I was there and over 30 in my group. I got one clean lap in all day and was very distracted by having to dodge several downed riders. Towards the end of the day after I just missed hitting the second helmet on the pavement, I decided to load up and call it a day. Obviously people were getting too tired and push too far. The .org day I had numerous clean sessions with nobody around to distract my otherwise clear concentration. If I was a racer, it wouldn't bother me but that's not why I go. |
