| Re: Mt. Washington ride. July 3 or 5 Yep yep yep. Heading up North on the 2nd.
NH, is there a number to call the base station to find out if conditions for that day are expected to be favorable? The ride up was nice, but it would've been better still to know that it just wasn't the right day to try to make it up there.
Hell, if the conditions are good on the 3rd (Saturday), and questionable on the 5th (Monday), I'll just ride on through without much/any rest.
She will be ours, oh yes, she will be ours |

| Re: Mt. Washington ride. July 3 or 5 sounds like a good ride but I don't know. I've never even been in a car but I know you're pretty close to the edge and I don't think I like the idea of being on a bike and seeing the cliffs right there

| Re: Mt. Washington ride. July 3 or 5 well, figure out when you're going for sure. If it's the 2nd it'll be tough for me to get my bike ready (and my body). I'll be home late night on the 1st (thursday) from Grattan and would need to do a few things to make my bike street legal again. Now, if it's on the 5th or something I'd be all for it!! |

| Re: Mt. Washington ride. July 3 or 5 Yeah, the 3rd or the 5th should be doable for me and the wifey. She says she doesn't want to go if we're going to be hauling ass up and down the mountain. She's a bit of a fraidy cat still! |

...and that's IF we're lucky enough to get a chance to get up there.
NH is of course the authority on the subject, but I bet even he won't be scraping any parts or pucks. "Arrive alive", I say.
Psst, Tavish, wanna ride beeotch? |

| Re: Mt. Washington ride. July 3 or 5 The road is much less scarey on a bike. You can actually see the edges of the road...and the steep, 1000' drops beyond.
The posted speed limit is like 15mph and realistically, the only scraping of parts happens if you fall down. Car's are a PITA but I don't really recommend passing them.....unless it's on one of the straights and they are going reeeeeaaallllll slow. |

| Re: Mt. Washington ride. July 3 or 5 Looks like this has been postponed to the 5th.
30-40% chance of showers for Monday, but hopefully that forecast will change.
Who's going? |

A) construction work on your bike
B) a shed
C) a plugged rear tire that can't handle 15mph
D) all of the above |
