 | I'm Evacuating tonight to Deal's Gap I've been looking for a good reason to get the heck out of tampa. A buddy of mine called me from Raleigh, NC and invited me to seek refuge at his place. I've got the bike, PC, Laptop, cooler, & clothes (in order of importance) loaded up and I am bailing out of here Friday Night! Pulling an All Nighter.. Just me and starbucks Double SHots! Anyhow, is there any place I should check out while I am Raleigh? I want to do some riding, but have no idea where to go and ride/hang in Raleigh? | |

Lots of good roads around the lakes, most of the side roads off of NC 98 between US1 and durham... If you get here in time tomorrow, the all star ride for charity is at scooters grill. The goberts will be there and Kurtis is supposed to be there too. If I didn't have to work my p/t job, I'd be there! |

| Re: I'm Evacuating tonight to Deal's Gap Back in FL already. I was able to do a ton of riding in NC, however the Gap didn't pan out as I had to be back in FL on Tue AM. I did get to do some fun riding in Raleigh around some of the lakes... I remember passing two bikes on Sunday that stood out. RC51 was leading and it looked like eithe a 600RR or a 100RR riding two up... I don't remember all the names fo the roads, except one that I really liked. I believe it had a church in the name of it. Lots of tight turns..  |
