| Re: SHIFTN STEEL SPORT RIDERZ Well I actually looked at the website and joined the group (just to check out web content, but not go riding with them). Kind of reminds me of another group in the MD/VA/DC area called Triad Riderz or something of that sort (I'm not a member of that group either). I get so confused by all these groups with the usage of the letter "z" instead of "s" to make words plural. I did notice that they don't have those leather vests with their logo on the back, which makes it even more confusing to identify distinct group"z".
Just my |

Just my | Triad riders. Isn't that the site that one new member (now banned) belonged to and it's a stunt group? |

| Re: SHIFTN STEEL SPORT RIDERZ So why on earth would I need to join a "Real Bike Riding Club"? Can't I just go for a ride? I have to do this with a club? I've been doing this wrong for all these years? Whoops, I mean yearz?
Do I have to try to talk like an inner city loser hood to join your club? Do I need a CBR with a rear sprocket the size of a large pizza to fit in? Does your idea of a ride involve going somewhere highly visable and "hangin"? Like the mall? Movie theatre? Preferably on a weekend night? Wearing huge pants and talking on a cell phone?
I don't have an Aisian car with a huge wing on the back...is that ok? Also, the first time I fall off, I'm not going to make an insurance claim and use the money for more car crap instead of getting back on the horse...I don't know, man. I've gotta hunch I'm not goinna fit in all that well...wouldn't want to cramp your "style"...
Gee, sounds like a riot... |

Anytime these groups do positive things for people (toys for tots, etc), they promote a positive image for the sport. |
