Riding roads in upstate NY and Pennsylvania Some friends and I are looking to head down and hit some great roads in upstate NY and Pennsylvania this summer for a weekend ride. I have already done some research but looking for some locals that can point out some not to be missed roads and places to stay. We will be crossing the border in Buffalo so anything within 3 to 5 hours from there would be good. TIA.

Re: Riding roads in upstate NY and Pennsylvania The Fingerlakes region in NY is supposed to be good, but I haven't been there yet. Hoping to check it out this summer. Wish I could be of more help, but I don't head north that often. Give a shout when/where you're going, and where you'll be, maybe a few of us can come up and join you!

Re: Riding roads in upstate NY and Pennsylvania I had a great day in pa riding on rt32 and 611 we were even detoured onto one of the bestroads I ever been on.I felt a bit guilty having so much fun when all of those people were flooded out of their houses. Some of the mud lines stopped at the very top of the houses.I think the said the deleware was 31" higher that normal.

Fingerlakes area is good...but you have to be careful about the seasonal traffic....
