Although I would love to take the Ascot through one day

You know... It's kinda funny, since I was raised in Atl I don't have much of a southern accent. You'd be surprised how much people open up to me when I tell them I was born in Murphy, N.C. |

My buddy on his VFR is supposed to come up, the XX makes more sense. (BTW I'm working on having a lady accompany me, better 2up riding). |

| Re: Deals Gap Easter weekend I had a great time this weekend at Deal's (and surrounding area).
Friday and Saturday were beautiful days, I even saw 81F on the local Bank display Sat.
I was extremely late getting there Fri. due to circumstances that I allowed to become beyond my control. (Sorry again Okie)
The Gap was clear, no sand or gravel and the road was in great shape. There was very little traffic and the place was as quite and serene as I had ever witnessed. Riding Deal's before Mother Nature has done her thing with the trees and undergrowth gives one a new appreciation for the sheer drop offs we tend to put out our mind when making a "run". Before the flaming starts… my days of making timed “runs” at the Gap are long over… If you don’t believe me, come watch me climb a few flights of stairs after throwing around the Bird this weekend.
(Sorry about the pics... New camera before Grattan (always blame the camera )) |
