| Re: Orlando Motorcycle Shops Cycle Riders, both locations, are the place to buy a bike for a good price but they have a limited selection of gear on display. Seminole Powersports is the place to try anything on. Their new location has the most gear on display in the area. I would never buy a bike at Seminole Powersports due to their tightness on price and they burned me back in '91 when they all but refused to do warranty work on my Sea Doo. The parts guys at Powersports are great and I'll buy parts there if I have to. Orlando Yamaha/Kaw is pretty small and they don't have a lot on display but they've been good to work with on some things. I haven't been to Cycle Gear but a friend works there and she says the prices are pretty good. Inexpensive parts and oil and such I buy local, everything else is bought online.
Are you still in Orlando? |

I would check out this cycle gear place. I've "heard" that they have some pretty good deals going on in their stores, cheaper than their website prices. Judging by the selection they offer it would seem that they should stock a few good items. Managing to squeeze in a bit of bike related time, conq? Somethin' on your mind? |

| Re: Orlando Motorcycle Shops THREADJACK:
Where in Orlando would be a good place to get some tires mounted. I just moved here a month ago and do not know of any shops that could do this. I am on the east side of O-town. The closet dealer I know is the Orlando Yamaha shop on 50. I do not konw if they will mount tires for a Honda. I could not imagine that it would matter.
I all ready have pilot powers purchased (thanks Todd from Cal-Sportbike ) in my garage. Is there any small cycle shops that are reputable close by? There were several in Melbourne that I could go to but do not want to travel back there. |

Dunno if we'll be able to make it to any of the shops or not, due to all the other stuff we're squeezing into the schedule.
Thanks for the info though. |

Yep. In Sanford. It should not take that long if you take the 417. It moves pretty good. |

Orlando Yam/Kaw will mount your tires. A few years back the parts guy told me that if you bring them inside, he'll tell them you bought the tires there and would not rape you on the mounting price. Most shops around here charge more if you bring them your tires you bought elsewhere. It depends on the shop. There is a couple of small shops in the area that will mount also and will have a much faster turn around than the dealer. I use a private race shop to do mine but I haven't seen that guy in a long while and don't know if he is still working on customer's bikes during the racing season. |
