Trail of Tears Ride is this Saturday. Last year was a very small turnout due to the hurricanes tearing up the area just south of here. This year should be back to normal. If you are in the are it is kind of cool to see the stream of bikes. If you go DO NOT spend money in Huntsville as they are historically very unsupportive of the event.

Here is a picture from the stream coming the other way. This went on for 20 miles with me heading in the opposite direction at 50-65MPH! Then another 10 miles of large groups but with some cars filling the gaps. After that I left the route but they had thinned to almost none.

"There were many Harleys, but also choppers and three wheelers, Ninjas and even one Vespa-like motor scooter"
Now I saw Harleys, Hondas, Suzukis, Yamahas, BMWs, KTMs and others but not one fighting star was tossed my way.

There was also some reporting on the participants that was great. Many folks of Cherokee decent still live in the area and participate in this event.
