Breakfast Run In Ephrata, PA This Sunday 10/1

The breakfast run in Ephrata is the first sunday of every month. I finally got a sunday off so Im going to go. I need to see some fellow Fireblade members there to represent. Im tired of seeing all these damn Gixxers all over the place. Whoever is going let me know & we can meet up. I'll be there around 10:00 in the am to hang out than a bunch of riders go on a nice back road ride up to Rt. 125. that Im sure most will enjoy. Well let me know.............Peace

I usually make it to most of the breakfasts, and hit 125 as well, but this weekend I will not be able to make it. I may stand to be corrected, but I think this is the last weekend for it.

Likewise!

Too bad you didn't make it Bishop, the day turned out very nice. On the way I took 222 but on the way home any road would have been fine. Dunno about Tuesdays yet, I'll look into it.

Re: Breakfast Run In Ephrata, PA This Sunday 10/1

One time (I think in '01) I made that ride with a few other guys in FEBRUARY.
Brrr.

We used to get a nice sized group (ten or fifteen of us) that met at a local gas station every warm "first Sunday"; we'd all ride up together. One time we showed up and the group had just about doubled in size. There were a lot of sketchy-looking dudes there that morning. A couple of us bugged out a few minutes early, made great time, and beat the group to Ephrata by well over an hour. Turns out that on the way up, one of the 'new' guys in the big group ran wide at a tricky spot on 897. Last thing he ever did.

I haven't been in about four years. Maybe in '07...

I haven't been there in much longer than that. Heard it got squidly. Maybe I'll get there in '07, but it'll need to be warm. NOT Feb!
We'll coordinate...

I am getting new tires for the 954 mounted today and am not planning to winterize my bike. If the weather is nice on a first Sunday in the next few months I'd love to meet up with others from the org. Post up if anyone decides to go on Dec 7.

Can't be the 17th, it's the first Sunday of the month! I've already winterized my bikes, so of course it's warm out. I won't be riding till March at the earliest.

Yeah, sucks. Normally it is way too cold to ride this time of year around here, so I do the best thing for them, which is storage. Not worth it to me to sneak out on the occasional warm day in January, because if it has snowed, there's still salt all over the road.

DUH!! No, I meant January 7. Sorry for the confusion. I am just hoping for a warm winter. Just got new tires mounted yesterday and my oil changed. I am ready to ride this weekend if the weather cooperates.

So how is January looking for Ephrata? My crystal ball does not predict the weather very well that far out. Does anyone go in Jan-March?
