A ride up to Bear Mountain sounds like a pretty good idea since we could meet maybe around Queens and head up north from there.
I'll know what's going on with my bike in the next week or so. Either way, I want to have something by Daytona's bike week next March.
Take care,
Franc | I ride anywhere from Stony Brook(rarely) to Jersey and thats just local riding. We typically stay between Nassau and Brooklyn. We meet up at 21...I dont know if anyone has ever heard of it. |

| Re: NYC area Honda dealer? Hey,
I bought a 1000rr from crazy freddys and soon found out that they over charged me. I am trying to get a hold of a lawyer that has worked on a case against them. Do you know of any? Or do you know anyone who brought a lawsuit against them. I read that you got in an accident but did you start to file against them? I would greatly appreciate your help. It sucks getting a great bike and finding out that you got ripped off. Thanks again. Quote:

I wish I could help on the lawyer. But that place is known for ripping people off. I know a few people who have gotten bikes from them and just about every single one has had a complaint. No lawsuits that I know of though. I am not sure if there would be a case...they can charge you whatever you are willing to pay unless they used deceptive tactics(wouldnt suprise me). |

| Re: NYC area Honda dealer? New York Honda in LIC Queens are very good. I take my bike there anytime I have a major issue. They also have resonable prices for their parts. You have to also remember they are a dealer and I rather take my bike to a dealer for a check up than anybody else who doesn't know what they are doing.
Had the experiance of taking my bike to so called repair shops. |

I can give kuddos to fun wheels in medford....I was stuck with a clutch that wouldnt catch a gear on my little rebel on a saturday afternoon....I didnt even buy the bike from them. I got it used from someone that monkeyed around with the clutch handle ...and they picked me and the bike up with in one hours time...fixed the bike with in a few days and even drove me home that afternoon! and they didnt screw me over!! Now that is service!
