Can anyone recommend a Honda dealer in the NYC area?

Champion Motorsports (516.433.0257) on Old Country Road or Crazy Freddy's (516.378.1900) on Sunrise Highway. Crazy Freddy's seems to host more of the 'stunna' crowd and Champion the cranky old men.

crazy freddys is no good, they are thieves i know from experiance, it sucks. i bought a 636 and got a bill after of 16000 but i had an accident

and insurance covered it.

Yeah I have heard a lot of bad things about Crazy Freddys. A few of my friends have had bad experiences with them. Most to do with money. Watch what you sign and check everything with them. I bought all the bikes I have ever owned from Champion Honda and they have been great. A lot of people have changed over there but they still seem to be good people.

where is that dealership? the ones ive heard that are pretty good is formula 1 in oakdale next to the harley dealership on sunrise highway, and maximum motorsports in riverhead at the end of the l.i.e. out east, im at exit 62 off the l.i.e. the only other honda dealership i know is funwheels in medford, where are you in new york? city or on the island more ore neither? lol

I am exit 48 off of the LIE. Champion is in Hicksville which is about exit 38 or so. There are more than one Crazy Freddies and they are both on the south shore so no where near the LIE. Both are in Nassau county.

o thats kinda far from me, like 40 mins or so. the crazy freddies i went to was in commack. also i talked to some dude who worked there and he had told me that there is a class act law suit against crazy freddys, the guy who owns it. and supposivly 7 federal agents or something like that got ripped off by him too the guy told me? i dunno? i dont know how true it is but i guess if your friends want to look into it, i think you can go to a site called bad business burea or something like that and try to look it up.

I'm taking my bike to NY Honda in LIC this Saturday. The service people there seemed pretty reasonable. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

They are pretty good. I purchased my '05 from the 2 Years ago. I only used them for the 1st service. Nice place...nice people. One of the better Honda Dealers in the NYC Area. Let me know how it turns out.

I'm thinkin' you're good..considering this may be one of the last good weather days we'll have for a while. Unless we have some brave soles that enjoy the bitterness of the windchill factor.

lol, i would prefer my bike though, when i get it, but i live in Farmingville N.Y. on the island.

Your age might be the cause of high insurance. I know a good broker. My insurance full coverage is $1100 for the year. Geico wanted about $3k and I have a spotless record.
