Nor'easter Folks, this is absolute BS...I am waiting for torrential downpours, wind that wrecks tree, etc...And, I get nothing. I go down to the River (which is salt water in my neighborhood) and nothing...The level is not up, high tide loks the same, and I am disappointed...

Re: Nor'easter Really? We're getting hammered with torrential downpours here. My sump pump is filling back up as soon as it empties, and I have ducks swimming around in my yard.

Re: Nor'easter Nah, I'm good, actually. Never had a serious problem during any of the hurricanes, from Doria to Floyd. Not too far south of me, though, down the mountain, it gets really bad. I was at a friend's house tonight and had to detour 3 times to get home due to high water. If this rain keeps up till Wednesday, it's going to be really bad around here.

Re: Nor'easter I'm disappointed too. Just drove out of the city through some heavy rains, but nothing vaguely resembling a monsoon. I was looking forward to Mother Nature's ferocity. Got some lightning, though; sadly a rare treat 'round these parts.
