| Re: any nj riders here??? I'd get a season of riding under your belt first, and look into it for next season. You should be at least comfortable with highway speeds and working the controls of your bike should be second nature. At least that's my opinion. At least get a couple thousand miles in. |

| Re: any nj riders here??? I did not realize you just have only 500 miles under your belt so far.. I also agree with forceten and HondaGalToo and get some more riding in before venturing out to the track. Look in to taking the MSF course bc it will teach you a lot and it’s a nice controlled environment.

| Re: any nj riders here??? Agree with cvc about the MSF class. Did you take the basic course to obtain your license? If not, go take it now. If you've taken the basic course, then take the MSF's Experienced Rider Course first thing next Spring. Then consider a track school later in the season. |

| Re: any nj riders here??? Hey, sorry to pick up a month old thread. I ride out of the Cherry Hill area and cold be damned, I'll just be making longer rides south! Still a newbie ~4kmi under my belt. I do 75mi daily commute to/from work and try to lay down 300 miles or so every weekend. So far I've been up into northern NJ (Sussex co has some nice roads!), lower NY, and eastern/central PA. Unfortunately it's all been solo so far. I really look forward to trailing the pack on some group rides to get the feel for riding with others. |

| Re: any nj riders here??? Group riding's a whole 'nother animal. It can be a great day, or a disaster. Choose your riding buddies wisely. I enjoy riding with 2-5 people who's skills I know and trust. Groups over 6 for spirited riding are too big, in my opinion. Also discuss what's expected first, before you venture out on a group ride. |

I'll be at Pocono East this Saturday. That weekend in October I'll be at BeaveRun. |

| Re: any nj riders here??? All 3 of the major ones around here: TPM, STT, NESBA, they all have their pros and cons. They all do things a bit differently. The best thing to do is try them all out and see which one is the best fit for you.
I used to ride only with Reduc, but they folded a couple of years ago (STT bought them out). If they were still in existence, I'd still be riding only with them. Now I check out other orgs, and see which ones have dates that fit in with my schedule. |

| Re: any nj riders here??? Gonna give this thread a bump, I'm a new cbr900rr owner. I live just south of bordentown, but spend most of my time between here, Hightstown, New Burnswick/Rutgers, and Union. Looking for new folks to ride with as most of my riding buddies have been slowly moving away from the biking world as kids, wives, jobs etc pop up. |

HondaGalToo, you hinted at it in a thread in the intro section.
I'm trying to get together with some Jersey riders. Think we should try and set up some rides this season.
I'm in Burlington County. Central/South Jersey. I'm down to get together. Hopefully we can set something up.
