anyone in the central nj area that can drive down with me for the drivers test?

I set an appointment for 1.pm in eatontown dmv off of exit 105 on the parkway. I figured I would post on here to see if anyone would be willing to meet up with me and ride down so i can take my test.

I may take a course to get out of the driver test and lower my insurance as well. I heard about a free course does anyone have leads to it.

the drivers test appointment is for back up, but it seems like the days are passing really fast.

anyone that can help out i greatly appreciate it

When, today? You'll never find someone on that short notice.

Here's the NJ DMV website with info about the free course at Sea Girt: State of New Jersey - Motor Vehicle Commission
As you can see, the courses are full until August for the free one. You need to sign up early. However, if you ride down and hang out, sometimes there are no-shows and then you can get in.

There's a fee for that one.

I strongly urge you to take the beginner class and get you license that way. You'll learn valuable skills that will make you a better, safer rider. Good luck!

oops lol, june 5th at 1pm sorry for leaving that out.

I use to build prep and test ride every bike that came out of a kawie yamaha dealer so im not a beginner but I know the course reduces your insurance.

im hoping a friend can come with me otherwise hopefully someone can come with me form here in june.

Sorry, I've got this thing called work.

What did the test riding consist of? How much other riding did you do? Since you don't have a license currently, I'm gonna guess you don't have a lot of street miles under your belt and are basically self-taught? You'll learn a lot from the course. I'd been riding for many, many years before those courses became available and I was surprised at how much I learned...

i been riding / racing dirtbikes and atv's since i was 12ive riden over 500 miles in capetown south africa on a bmw 1150gs. I rode around 400 on a buell ulysses in johanesberg south africa. Ive ridden in paris, rome, florence. etc

I have plenty of experience, i just chose not to ride on the street in the u.s. till i was mature enough to not hit 130 and cruise at thAT SPEED, so thats why i just got my permit, btw i own a rc51 now woohoooo

sweet, i actually yave a friend coming with me, but in the case that he cant make ti that day it would be great if we could meet up before hand and ride there together.

i cant find the link to pm you but i litterally work across the street at the honda dealer in the sales dept dch kay honda in eatontown 732-542-5900 my ext is 272 hit me up i probably wont have my blade till next week i have a deposit on a 2001 929 im paying cash just a little short this week to p/u my friend is a manager at the dealer so they are letting me pay her off while she sits on the showroom floor
