| Re: Looking for Lipstick camera help Haven't used this one myself but Dirt Rider Adventures on OLN uses this for all their on bike stuff. Action Sports Cam
Very tiny. They gave a little review of it on the show a week ago. They said it was the best they've used so far and they had gone through a lot of different lipstick ones. |

| Re: Looking for Lipstick camera help I have the Bulletcam 480 line unit mounted on my bike. I've also used it snowboarding and it works great. They use an RJ14(?) phone type of connecting cable that makes it easy to disconnect just the helmetcam and leave the rest of the system installed on the bike. Helmetcamera.com also offers a nice system (I think Conq owned one, too) but it is about $100 more. I'm going to buy a second camera so I can have front and rear facing units. Hope to get lots of onboard footage of everyone at Grattan!
edit: Make sure your camcorder can accept analog input. Not all camcorders work with lipstick cameras.

| Re: Looking for Lipstick camera help I have the FMRCC2 from here: http://www.icon-tv.org/Accessories.1.html
I just ordered this to record A/V onto a Memory Stick, http://www.sonystyle.com/is-bin/INTE...=PEGAVR100KIT1
It's cheaper than my Camcorder and also has Composite out to watch in the truck between sessions. I can't wait to try it out. |

Thanks. | Is that DV or Digital 8? FWIW, I have Sony TRV-840, and Studio 8 on my computer so I can edit digital video no problem. Unless your planning on recording how slow I ride... |

Reguardless, its not campatable with my camera...as long as iyour camera has a DV IEEE-1394 port, we can download it to my computer.
"interesting lines", is that what you call that eradic thrashing about I do on the track |

| Re: Looking for Lipstick camera help Two of my riding companions have recently purchased the VioSport Helmet cam. Very similar to the helmetcamera.com one. It is fantastic and you'd be very surprised how well the suction-cup mount system works on helmets. Picture quality is fantastic for being so small and compact. They are both very happy with it and reccomend it to a lot of people.
Dano
{edit} Their site is www.viosport.com it doesn't seem to be working right now though .
