| Re: New GPS Models from Garmin I know, I know. You're right ND.
If you remember, I bought a Garmin 60c last spring, used it on one daytrip on my FZ1, then sold it. I'm just too sausage-fingered to employ such devices. Not really a gadget guy in the true sense of the word. |

Now locate yourself on a map (remember road name signs are sometimes optional in the south ) A good GPS would rock. Besides tank bag on an RR |

First the c330 just says it has internal, pre-programmed memory. The other one (which costs less too) says it uses SD memory cards.
I would think I'd rather have one that you can upload maps and upgrade memory space. |

| Re: New GPS Models from Garmin That's the same way the 2610 and 2620 were. One had it built in, one uses CF cards. |

I haven't read enough about the new ones to know.
The 2620 used a microdrive, which, technically, should be easier to damage than solid state memory. |

It's designed for auto use. Around here those maps don't show most of the fun roads. But maybe they have updated the info. |

| Re: New GPS Models from Garmin City Navigator has every road you could think of... How long has it been since you've looked at the data they have?
You can preview the latest data from City Navigator here: http://www.garmin.com/cgi-bin/mapgen...&rz=0&k=1&sc=1 |

On the other hand, you'll want to just trash it in a couple years anyway and get the latest and greatest.
