| Re: whats your favorite ear phone? i hear people talk about ear buds. does that mean any type of "in the ear" earphone or is there a certain brand that makes these "ear buds". im lookin for the most comfortable, wind noise protective, good helmet earphones. also where to get them? |

| Re: whats your favorite ear phone? I've just switched to a pair of Shure EC2s, they're simply the best. I use them when I'm studying and biking, so I'm sure they would fine while riding. Check them out. Shure - E Series |

| Re: whats your favorite ear phone? Pretty much the best ear buds you can by. I use mine for running, skiing, just about anything. In your ear, even without any music playing, the function just like ear plugs. Pick yourself up a pair. You'll be glad you did! |

But trust me, it is DEFINITELY worth it. They also come with about 15 different pairs of ear inserts so you can accurately fit them to your ear canal, which was a huge plus for me. Trust us, it's worth the $100. |

| Re: whats your favorite ear phone? Don't feel like breaking the bank for ear buds that stay in your ears inside a full-faced helmet? I bought a set of Skull Candy Ear Buds and they rock. They're also very comfortable and compare in sound to a set of Etymotic ER6 that I used to have.
The best thing, they're only $29.95 USD Skullcandy: LINK, MP3 Players, helmets, cellphone, apparel, gear, cd players, headphones - headphones - headphones |

| Re: whats your favorite ear phone? My vote is for the KOSS in the ear phones. Block alot of the wind, great bass and treble performance and are very comfortable(I know comfort is subjective but....). All this with a great price. I actually found mine at a local retailer. But here's the URL for you of the same ones I purchased. Aerostitch KOSS earphones |

| Re: whats your favorite ear phone? I have been using the Shure E5c
for a few years now
I wear them for several hours 3-4 times a week
when I 1st got them I was traveling & would wear them for 6-8hrs everyday
some days for 12-16hrs straight
never hurt the ears
I had planned on getting the ear mold thing
but never did

They have foam, just like shooters' or musicians' plugs, are fairly streamlined, and so far haven't come loose...even when running. My wife has had a pair for a year or so and uses hers for ultra-endurance mountainbike races. No complaints from her either. I got mine at CompUSA for around $20.

| Re: whats your favorite ear phone? I've been using Sony's in-ear plugs. They were expensive as ear plugs go, but I absolutely love them. They're comfortable, block out wind noise, give great quality play back and never cause trouble with the helmet. |

| Re: whats your favorite ear phone? I have had several different brands over the years and currently have these. So far I really like them. They have different models that can block out a higher db is you like. These are also custom molded to your ears. I’ve never used non-custom plugs. The ones from Big Ear Inc. are the most low profile ones I’ve had. Custom hearing protection headphone ear plug - Big Ear |

| Re: whats your favorite ear phone? I just got rid of my Sony MDR-EX71SL earphones. I liked them quite a bit. I could block out a lot of road noise, even when the the ipod stopped.
The only thing I didn't like was that I would lose some dynamics once I put my helmet on.
Does anyone else have that problem? I wonder if its just the phones or something else.
I'm gonna try the JVC Marshmallows. I'll let you know how they compare. |

I'm gonna try the JVC Marshmallows. I'll let you know how they compare. | the ear pockets in your helmet may press on the little stems that go about an inch downward from your ear (in a lot of earbuds). causing them to get unsettled from where you originally liked them (and taking some of your sound away). sometimes i have to put helmet on a couple times before they stay where i want them |

| Re: whats your favorite ear phone? See my post above about some that will not move out of your ear. They are low profile and the guy that makes them can be found at the motorcycle shows. He is honest and is not there to sell you the highest priced set he has. He would rather sell you what works for you. |

They fit in your ear good, they block out all kinds of noise, including those very angry police officers that give you tickets , and are fairly decent in the bass and treble. And all this for under $20.00 now!!! Not bad! |
