Need help with speed sensor....

Hi. I just bought an Acewell 3701-mx digital gauge. The sensor they sent me has a magnet bolt and a sensor. My bike is a 95 Honda cbr 600 f3. I've look at the schematic on my bike and it has three wires. The sensor that came with the gauge has only two wires. I don't know much about this stuff so if any of you can help, I would greatly appreciate it.

Re: Need help with speed sensor....

Aren't you supposed to run the sensor down your fork leg and then bolt the magnet onto your disk? I'm not sure the unit supports a signal from your existing speedo sensor. I would think that a 95 CBR might even have a cable driven speedo.
