Static on CB from Strobes - HELP!!!

Need to know what I can put between my CB pack and my strobe pack in the trunk of my gl1800te goldwing to redule the static bursts of the strobes on my cb radio.

Can I slide a piece of lead between the two units or ???

The two units sit one above the other, with about an inch between them. I put a section of cardboard covered in tin-foil between them and it worked much better than before, but I am looking for a less "red-necked" fix. Something a bit more long-term.

I have a funeral escort to do this wednesday with JSO and I would love to have this wrapped up before then or my reception is going to suck. I say it's going to suck because I have to set my squelch to around 15 to 18 to do away with the static bursts heard over the cb. The squelch level varies slightly which is also very confusing.

HELP!!

Thanks guys ~Fire
