LED blinkers aint working?

LED blinkers aint working?

i just bought a set of led indicators for my 02 cbr954rr, wired them up, and nothing? ive heard that they usually flash quicker and you need to get some sort of relay, but these arent doing nout? they are from hong kong that could be the problem!!!
any help appreciated

Was there any difficulty with the wiring? Try one with just supplying 12V. separately from the bike wiring to be sure they work at all. I believe they are polarity sensitive too so be careful.

then you prollly shouldn't be hooking them up? it mean they must be wired properly to work at all.. and wiring them the wrong way could render them useless..

ive hooked up an indicator before buddy, just not LED ones...

cheers, so if you hook it up the wrong way round the first time does it essentially 'blow' it? i have used led ones before on my f4i and they just wired straight in but flashed real quick so had to get a relay to slow them down...

They should still be fine but they will only work with current going through in one direction. That's what diodes do in LED's (Light Emitting Diode), like a one way valve.

Haha! Yeah cheers mate! Shouldv mentioned iv got them working now! By the way theres stil some left on ebay if you like them, theyre about 7 quid with postage, just type in led indictors they siould come up!
