HTC Touch HD mounting on 2007 Fireblade

I have recently bought a 2007 Fireblade.
I'm searching for a mounting system of my PDA/GPS HTC Touch HD.
Can some one help me on finding a mounting system. The sound of the instructions (and radars) will be received with a bluetooth headset

this is the PDA/GPS/GSM

not sure what the diameter is on the stem of your bike, but there is always the stem mount. I am thinking of using on for mine for swapping between my cell phone and GPS.

check my previous post for a stem mount. another good option is do a search for a tank mount. there are several vendors who sell one that mounts using the 3 gas cap screws.

I trust amazon as they are good about returns if you don't like it. I would first check the Fireblade vendors though to see if one of them offers something.

If not

no problem. just be sure that it is the right one for your application. (i.e. bolt hole locations) I am NOT calling you ignorant, just want you to be aware that most of the "bolts" on the tank cap are fake. There are usually only a few bolts that are real. check this one yours to ensure that you can actually mount this, or do google search for a tank mount specific to your Blade year.

Then, LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU GET! (and how well it works of course:-)

Re: HTC Touch HD mounting on 2007 Fireblade

Hi guys

sorry for the late reaction but last 2 months I had very little time to be on the cloud. But I can tell I have found the solution for my problem in RAM mount system.

Pictures will tell more than I can say. I'm pleased with the solution. In fact I had two options. I coud have placed a waterproof case for my phone, but while shopping I discoverd that the iPhone cradle fits the HTC TOUCH HD. I don't use the bike while raining I preferred the last solution.
At the same time I bought a camera mount which can be mounted on the same holder. I did some test with filming and the video is very stable and clear. Just for the fun :-)

The mount is placed on the left steer. We had to loosen one bolt and put the holder (on the picture the first object above the sony bluetooth) on the left steer. The PDA and camera mount are universal.

This is where I bought my stuff : Service en opleiding

A 2007 Fireblade has an electronic steeringdemper mounted there. So this was not an option for me

Yup. just saw that in the pics the last post Tsmetjen put up.

The 08 does not have a reservoir on the left mhandlebar like the 07 does, that was my first clue, then I looked closer and saw the different damper.
