Wiring Loom - CBR 900 1995

I was wondering if the wiring loom from a 1996 'Blade will fit on the 1995 one?

The guy who streetfightered the bike hacked the original loom to bits, I tried repairing it as much as I could but little problems keep appearing, so I was thinking of replacing the whole loom.

Some of the problems were things like the front left indicator blowing, but none of the others? And, when hi-beam was turned on it fried the headlight wires? I think it is a knackered ground somewhere, but I really haven't got the patience to find it...

Re: Wiring Loom - CBR 900 1995

The thing is, is that I don't know if it's the ground, or a dodgy connection somewhere as it worked fine before!

I should ellaborate on the problem a bit more:

I had the indicators wired up with no problems and were running fine, the problem arose when I turned Hi-Beam on, the wires for the headlights started to melt... so I quickly turned the lights off from the switchgear and it stopped it smoldering!

The weird thing is that it took the left indicator out with it, but only the F-Left. The rear left indicator works fine, and so do both right hand indicators?

The bulb for the indicator doesn't instantly blow, it kind of fills with smoke first and then gradually dies?

EDIT:

Oh, and while inspecting the loom I found this on the side of the carbs, is it a Throttle Position Sensor? And, if it is... does it matter too much if it isn't connected?
