Man, I felt sorry for that guy! It had been raining and it was pretty cold and he was out for at least three laps before any other bikes ... then, it happened

Where did you put the lens/microphone? Do you have SMG in your 330?

I'm getting my first DV camera(Canon MVX25i) next week, and if I can afford it I will be shopping for an external lens.. Any suggestions?

Yeah, it's a bit of a drag they don't like in car or on bike vids any more, but you'd be surprised how many cars I still see getting through the gates with cameras.

My 330 is a 5-speed. I don't think the SMG offered on normal 3ers is as good as what you can get with the M3

If you can, buy a DV camera that can also act as a VCR. That way you can add a lipstick camera later which will give you a lot more options as far as views, especially on a bike

Ok.. A lipstick camera was what I meant when I was talking about an external lens.. I'm sure the camera I'm getting can work as a VCR. What type of lipstick camera was used on your car?

I didn't even know there was different types of SMG transmisions on the BMWs.. I'm not a big fan of semi auto trannies myself.. The new DSG from VW/Audi is OK, but if I could choose I would have bought a normal stickshift
