  | UK Riders... Proposed Road Tax Increases For BIkes.. To all Uk riders..... Mr. Darling aims to double the cost of road tax on motorcycles in 2009, and there is an online petition to protest against it.. I dont know if adding our names will make much of a difference to the proposals, but hey its got to be worth a shot.... Here is the link... Isnt that just tipical of this lot,we generaly do more mpg than cars,we produce less polution than cars ,we cause less congestion than cars and we certainly dont do as much damage to the highways and byways as cars.We have some of the poorest roads in europe as theres little maintainance done and to cap it all we have almost the highest gas prices in the world($10 gallon).Just how much more tax do they think that were prepared to pay? Rant over. |
