1st Ever UK Fireblades.Org Meet, May 2009 - Photos From p.14

Yep, the first ever UK Fireblades.Org meet..

Its taking place on the weekend of 30th/31st May 2009 at Banbury, Oxfordshire*.

Come along to show off your bike, chat (a lot), maybe take in a ride, eat, drink and generally be merry

.

Accommodation is sorted, the Holiday Inn in on standby. If you don’t mind sharing a room, and depending on the number of bookings we may be able to get the cost of an overnight stay, with breakfast, down to about £25
per person.
There are 2 eating/drinking places right next door to the Holiday Inn so you won't have far to stagger to your bed at the end of the evening

If you are interested in coming along, add your name to the thread as soon as possible and let me know if you want the overnight stay booked.

I will do one mass booking so we get the biggest discount possible

Unfortunately too far and too many other things on that weekend/week for me.

Thanks and well done ,i just have to find out whether i'm on call this weekend,i will mention this to aurthurbikemad too.Prob wont stay overnite as i live closeish.

sadly it's my wife's birthday on those dates.
Would love to come but don't think I'll get away with zooming off for the weekend on the bike as opposed to staying and home and delivering due pampering of said wife!

Well done to Loopy for organising it though. rep duly awarded for service to the .org

Her idea of a weekend away would be more Jacuzzi, massage and 3 course diner. It would definately not involve a couple of hundred miles on the back of a Fireblade followed by an evening in the pub talking about Fireblades followed by a morning admiring everyone else's Fireblades.

Sounds great to me, but there you go - horses for courses and all that. Despite me owning bikes of some form or another for the last 12 years if you asked her today what sort of bike I've got - she'd say a red one.

Although your eyes will be filled with tears of pain if you try the old "jacuzzi" trick in the bath with my missus - that's what happened to me last time I parped in the bath!

My little lady did exactly that ( a red one ) but it's blue and I only have one
